Ndotsolution - Opensource Question and Answers

Introduction:

Ndotsolution is a opensource software for question and answers software. Its provides features same as yahoo answers. As well as it provides social features like updates,friends,inbox,groups and etc.., Which is world first opensource software for question and answers.

Installation:

1.Unzip the package in an empty directory and upload everything.
2.Run the directory in browser
3.Follow the installation activity
4.If for some reason this doesn't work, don't worry. It doesn't work on all web hosts. Open up /application/config.php with a text editor like WordPad or similar and fill in your database connection details.

Database configuration:

To change the database configuration, go through /application/config/database.php. You can chanage the database username,password,database name and etc..,

Facebook connection configuration:

Login to your facebook account and go to application settings. You can create new application. While creating the application two things are important.
1.Setup the site url by clicking website tab. Ex:http://answers.ndot.in/
2.setup the canvas url by clicking facebook integration tab. Ex: http://answers.ndot.in/facebook/connect/

Note: Don't change the /facebook/connect/ in this url. Because facebook will return user credentials to this function.
Then save the changes. Successfully your application will create.

Then copy the application API key and API secret keys.
Open the api key file in /application/config/api.php and assign values to particular variables.
Facebook connection will work.
